Overview: Sometime in late September '04 I received a call from James Newton Howard. We'd spoken earlier in the year about the possibility of working together and this time the schedule worked out. My outpourings took the form of audio toolkits, layers of rhythm, ostenato sequences, ambient textures, very much like Phone Booth in approach but far more complex. Every few days I'd complete a batch, download it to James in LA and leave him alone for a couple more days to figure out what to do with it! We got quite a rhythm going between us, a lot of fun all round.
